The Board affirmed the administrative law judge's finding that the Respondent's statement to David W. Snyder that it refused to hire him because he took "every problem to the union" violated Section 8(a)(1) of the Act. The Board also found that the Respondent's refusal to hire Snyder violated Section 8(a)(3). The Board did not pass on the judge's finding that the Respondent's conduct violated Section 8(a)(1).

Charge filed by David W. Snyder, an individual; complaint alleged violations of Section 8(a)(1) and (3). Hearing at Detroit on May 5, 2008. Adm. Law Judge John T. Clark issued his decision Aug. 26, 2008.
