NLRB Member Peter N. Kirsanow

Peter N. Kirsanow is serving in a recess appointment as a Member of the National Labor Relations Board. President Bush has nominated him to serve for the remainder of a five-year term expiring August 27, 2008. That nomination is pending in the Senate.

Mr. Kirsanow was a Partner with Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff, LLP. In addition, he served as a Member of the United States Commission on Civil Rights. Mr. Kirsanow previously served as Senior Legal Counsel for Leaseway Transportation Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that, he served as Labor Counsel for the City of Cleveland. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kirsanow practiced law with Calfee, Halter & Griswold, LLP. He received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and his JD from Cleveland Marshall College of Law."
