Great customers

On Wednesday I paid visits to five LawMemo customers.

Two were managing partners at employment law boutiques, and three were the chairs of the labor/employment practice groups at full-service law firms.

All five law firms have wall-to-wall site licenses so all their lawyers and support personnel can receive Employment Law Memo emails three times a week.

My purpose was to preview a paradigm shift in how lawyers can receive the latest new court cases on labor and employment law.

Beginning this fall, LawMemo will be much more than an email updating service.
LawMemo will be delivering new cases throughout the day.

Lawyers will have their choice of several delivery systems:

  • Employment Law Memo - emails three times per week

  • The web - http://www.LawMemo.com

  • RSS feed - Use a news reader such as http://www.google.com/reader

  • Twitter - Follow http://twitter.com/LawMemo

  • Personalized Alerts - email or text message

    • Select alerts according to jurisdiction - any combination of state or federal courts

    • Select alerts according to key words or phrases

    • Get alerts via email (Full summary, citation, link to full text)

    • Get alerts via cell phone text message (Headline plus link to summary, etc.)

Customers' main worry was whether they had to give up their trusted Employment Law Memo emails. Well, of course not. LawMemo is adding on, not subtracting.

Second worry was cost. Well, these enhancements will not change LawMemo's pricing structure. No added cost.

I was gratified by the positive reactions to LawMemo's plans.
Especially the personalized alert system. It will be amazing.

More important, I had a chance to visit with some amazing people who are focused, friendly, and interesting. And they are working hard to bring the best legal services to their clients.
