NLRB decides "Kentucky River" cases
October 03, 2006 by Ross Runkel at LawMemo
NLRB Law Memo has full coverage of today's release of three "Kentucky River" cases by the National Labor Relations Board.
The Board issued new standards for deciding whether an individual will be classified as a "supervisor" or an "employee."
In one case the Board determined that "charge nurses" at an acute care hospital were supervisors.
In the other two cases the Board decided that "charge nurses" at a nursing home and "lead persons" at a manufacturing facility were employees.
