Lisa Gizzi focuses her practice on labor, employment law litigation and employer counseling. She represents employers before state and federal courts, administrative agencies and the National Labor Relations Board on a variety of employment matters including discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful discharge. Ms. Gizzi counsels employers on union organizing, campaigns, negotiation and administration of union contacts and other collective bargaining issues. She also provides advice and training to employers on employment relations matters such as employee discipline, employment policies, employment contracts and severance agreements. Ms. Gizzi is admitted to practice before state and U.S. district courts in Connecticut. She is also a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations and the Hartford County Bar Association. Ms. Gizzi received her B.A., magna cum laude , from Fairfield University. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Washington College of Law at the American University, where she served on the Law Review and published several articles. She currently is the contributing author of Labor & Employment in Connecticut, a Lexis publication. |
