ARBITRATION FEE SCHEDULE

$1500 per diem (OR and WA), $1600 per diem (CA and AK) for grievance cases; $200/hr for partial days or telephone conferences.

Cancellation fee schedule:  $1,100 per hearing date set, if cancellation/postponement occurs between 30 and 10 days of opening date;  $1400 per day, if hearing cancelled/postponed less than 10 days prior to set time; $500, minimum cancellation fee after hearing date is set (plus out-of-pocket expenses, if any).

Postponement fee is waived if delay is for cause and hearing goes forward.

Travel costs:  Plane travel is charged at fully-refundable rate, unless parties direct differently.  Travel time charged at $100/hour.  All out of pocket expenses to be reimbursed.  Arbitrator will provide receipts.

Terms:                        

Unless parties agree otherwise, arbitrator’s fees and expenses are divided equally between the parties and payment is 

due in full within 30 days of Award or Cancellation.
